Very very good price.

Very very good price. Although it’s dorm room but you feel the privacy inside your own capsule bed. Capsule bed is in good size too. Very friendly staffs - have helped me in different ways and make my stay stressless (:

Space is a bit unventilated.finishes to the room may be slightly improve ( although it’s good enough for this price ! )

Good location to walk downtown and catch subway.

Good location to walk downtown and catch subway. In a school zone so it’s safe and quiet.

Not clean, sheet was threadbare and stained, mattress was dirty, bathrooms are half finished. Ended up sleeping wrapped up in the comforter because I didn’t want to use the sheet/mattress... Breakfast is only offered for 30 minutes.

The staff is ver good.

The staff is ver good. The bed is quite comfort but sometimes too cold and noisy. not too clean but not too dirty. The shower room are quite dark but restroom are good.

Great staff and cosy atmosphere

The staff was VERY helpful. They searched for whatever you needed. I like that you could check out and leave luggage, the security features they had, they provided breakfast(toast bread, tea and fruits and that was great), the capsule beds with privacy screens , the central location to Lotte department store , Daegu station, etc. It was really great staying there.

There are no ports to charge your phone in the hostel. You can either sit in reception area and charge your phone or use your phone sparingly before it dies. This is an inconvenience especially if you want to use your devices in your room. So you better walk with your power banks.

Overall cheap and cute enough for the price.

The common area was cute and so were the dorm beds. I stayed in a four bed girls dorm with friends, which had a space heater which was great since it was freezing. The mattresses are super hard (more than normal Korean mattresses) so be prepared for that, but we slept fine anyway. About a ten or fifteen minute walk from the nearest subway station.

A softer mattress and thicker blankets for winter would have been nice.

Awesome

The bed extra large, it is near to everywhere ... I just need to walk for 10 minutes and I can go to my favorite place. All the staff are friendly... it is easy to being abroad if you meet someone like them, they make everything so easy, very helpful and kind :)

The bed was comfortable and the room was pretty quiet.

The bed was comfortable and the room was pretty quiet. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. The location is close enough to downtown to walk, but is still far enough away that it is quiet at night. A basic breakfast is provided for an hour in the morning.

I arrived at 7:40pm and no staff showed up until 8:10pm for me to check-in. I even tried calling twice, but nobody answered and there was no other way to contact them. Other than the long wait to check-in, everything was okay.

What was the highlight of The Style Guesthouse

Decent place to crash after long days of exploration.

The cheap price was a definite plus. I felt safe, with a password to get through the main door and a password to get onto my floor. Convenient location. I like that it was situated over a coffee shop - I think that's a cool idea.

The mattresses were uncomfortable. Korean mattresses are usually pretty thin and that doesn't bother me, but I could feel the springs in the mattresses here, which made it hard to sleep. Also, the sinks were pretty backed up.

They should care about the guests when they are ill.

Free Breakfast (Two kinds of fruits, slices of bread + jam & butter, brewed coffee and two kinds of fruit juices. Also 3in1 instant coffee and tea bags were available.). Free shampoo, conditioner and body soaps in the shower rooms.

I arrived at the hostel early morning, so I had to wait until the check-in time to go into the room. Normally I’m okay with it, but on that day, I wasn’t feeling well, so I really needed to lie down on a bed, but they said that I must wait until 3pm check-in time to go into the room. So I had to wait all the morning and till 3pm at the lounge, for hours, feeling really really ill. Staff were around, but no one cared. They made me wait literally after 3pm to check into the room. Then after I found out that the most of the dorm beds were empty previously, so I could have lie down in one of the empty beds earlier. Many other hostels I stayed, they were flexible. When they have beds ready, they let me go into the room before the check-in time, but this hostel is really strict about the check-in time even when they have beds ready (and even guest is ill). Toilets were clean, but the shower rooms were bit filthy and one of the shower head was broken, so practically we could use only one shower for everybody on the same floor.
